Venice, its Carnival and its masks are undoubtedly the ideal setting of gallant scenes, of the romantic twist and, more widely, festivities of any kind. With its Fêtes galantes, the Aachen André Campra composer broke the heavy legacy of the lullyste mode and has succeeded in developing a new lyric genre, sort of total show of before mingling in a Merry fairy chant and dance arts.
These "comedies-ballets"., whose Venetian festivals is one of the first and most brilliant examples, alternated scenes and stories no real link between them, for the simple happiness of the eyes and ears. The love intrigues to succeed in a gallant spirit that remains forever linked in our minds to that of the age of enlightenment.
With, musical direction and staging, two of the biggest names in opera today, William Christie and Robert Carsen, This production will continue an international career since we find it at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.

They started from Scicli to Venice to celebrate Carnival and triumphed in the expected competition that takes place in Piazza San Marco: "The best mask". Have embellished their parade with the scent of orange blossoms, other Sicilian element that left no doubt to the jury.
The costumes were made in Singapore: Red Velvet cloth inserts pheasant feathers and inspired by the most beautiful decorations of the art of Sicilian carts.
On the sleeves of the dress it portrays the Madonna delle Milizie, Patroness of Scicli.

OUBOUNTOU, is a word of Bantu origin used in many African languages. There equivalent in any other language of no other continent.
It translates : “I am what I am thanks to what we are all, humans “. It symbolizes the unity of the human race in its diversity.
In the context of the implementation of the OUBOUNTOU project 2016, whose central theme is the 'living together', the CRAN-MP appealed to GRUPPO INCANTO in order to offer the show "Italians"., When the emigrants was we ! ».
A prestigious room which has a meaning for GRUPPO INCANTO special because it is precisely in the Theatre of the Mazades that we started our adventure there is 4 years with this spectcale. The GRUPPO INCANTO and RADICI continuing their way of passer in the history of Italian emigrants.
